I think people on EBT should be allowed to eat at a five star restaurant for completely free once a month minimum and I’m not joking. It should be a human right to have the roses not just the bread.

What the woman who labors wants is the right to live, not simply exist — the right to life as the rich woman has the right to life, and the sun and music and art. You have nothing that the humblest worker has not a right to have also. The worker must have bread, but she must have roses, too.

For an animal with an average land speed of four inches a minute that only comes down the tree every couple weeks to shit, it’s kinda sweet to see mama haul ass at the heart-stopping rate of “fatigued elderly woman forgot her receipt”

So you know.

Anyone know of any good sources to watch/read when you’re trying to clean out a really cluttered and messy space? I know I can look it up myself but I would really like your feedback and experiences instead, especially if you know and have tried a method that worked for you.

I’ve been having a lot of issues with cleaning my room in particular and organizing my own things. I keep everything else clean, regularly clean our bathroom, kitchen, mop the floors, organize the cupboards, vacuum, but my room is another story and I’m starting to feel like I got issues that I don’t even know about that need addressing.

This happens to me every few years - I do a deep clean, it looks amazing, I keep it up for a while and then I go back to a mess and live in clutter and dust (I’m severely allergic too) for months afterwards and I just can’t clean my own room for some reason.

I just get really meh and lie down in bed and don’t want to even look at it.

I need to and want to do a spring cleaning and want to do better for myself and for Ragnar who loves nothing more but being with me in my mess.

Dana K white AKA a slob comes clean has a great podcast, several books/ audio books, and a whole series of YouTube videos. I love listening to her while I’m working on the house

Thank you! <3 <3

I was so obsessed with cutting keys. Yeah, your standard house keys in the US these days are probably an SC10 or a KW1, which is what I usually cut, but every once in a while someone would come in with a key for some closet in their house keyed back in 1913 and they’d be like “can you copy this” and I’d be like uhhhhhh and find some keys that haven’t even been in circulating since 1970 and I’d be like “let’s find out” and usually I could manage it but then the real challenge was for the manager to price the thing

also we didn’t have a laser etcher or anything so when people needed their keys numbered or labeled, I got to put them on an anvil and hammer little stamps onto them one letter at a time and I have to say I think in a past life I was a locksmith

Yes I do like to keep cool old keys just for fun!
